My Delhi Wins ARTA 2025 Best Street Food

We did it! Last night, we were crowned the UK’s Best Street Food at the 2025 ARTA's — and we’re absolutely over the moon. To win this incredible national title for the second time in just three years is an honour beyond words.

The ARTA Awards are often described as the “Oscars of the Asian restaurant world”, celebrating the very best South Asian cuisine across the UK. Hosted by BBC journalist Samantha Simmonds, the event brought together the finest restaurants from cities like London, Birmingham, and Manchester — and to see our name called as the winner was a truly unforgettable moment.

Bringing this award back to the North East fills us with pride. We started My Delhi to share the energy, flavours, and spirit of India’s capital, and to see that passion recognised on a national stage means everything to us.

Of course, none of this would be possible without our amazing team, who put their heart into every dish and every guest experience, and without you — our guests — whose support and love drive us forward every single day.
